Ropice Golf Course

  • The establishment of BG, a. s. dates back to 1996. Its intention was to construct a top level golf course in the picturesque foothills of the Beskydy Mountains which would conform to the parameters of the Professional Golf Federation. The hilly terrain of a property of more than 70 ha in Ropice was perfectly suited.

  • The design proposal of the golf course in Ropice was from one of the most important European architects, Austrian Hans George Erhardt, whose sense of the beauty of the foothill environment contributed to the creation of a unique golf course in the Czech Republic.

  • The interestingly shaped greens, the beautiful and exceptional holes and the wonderful panoramic views of the Beskydy Mountains, all will please the passionate heart of every golfer.

  • The 18-hole course is maintained in excellent condition and is designed for golfers with a minimum 54 HCP. Its parameters meet requirements for challenging championship tournaments and fulfill the criteria of the Professional Golf Association. The course is architectonically designed so that every player comes into his or her own. The first nine will set you in and warm you up for the game, and with the second nine, the difficulty increases, thus proving the skill of the golfer.

  • The 6-hole academy course is specifically aimed at beginners - those players taking their first steps into the sport. In terms of size and variety and the range of services available, the driving range is unique in the Czech Republic. The entire area of the driving range has been landscaped; there are six targets i.e. target greens, enabling golfers to monitor the movement of the ball after contact with the ground. Part of the range includes covered driving stations for use in bad weather. There are also training areas for practicing short strokes - a putting green and a chipping green - with a sand bunker.
